Chess culture above! HSC was founded in 2021 and in a couple of years the club has grown into one of the largest chess communities in Finland. At the heart of its activities are Tuesday game nights at the club's home venue, Street Bar Kallio. It's an easy way to get to know us. Our representative team is the two-time Finnish team chess champion.

Tuesdays from 18.00 Street Bar Kallio, Hämeentie 10, informal gaming. Alternate weeks with an instant play or rapid chess tournament starting at 19.00. Game nights are free of charge.
Kids' Chess
Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. at Uuno Pinza's premises in Jätkäsaari and Herttoniemi. Free lessons and games for 6-14-year-olds.
Competition Club
Wednesdays 18.00 - 19.30 at MOW's premises, starting in the centre of Helsinki at Pieni Roobertinkatu 9. Free coaching for young people at competitive level.
Masterclasses
The masterclasses are held occasionally at MOW' s premises in the centre of Helsinki at Pieni Roobertinkatu 9.The participation fee is 10€.
School clubs
HSC has run school clubs in cooperation with the City of Helsinki. All clubs are free of charge for participants. School clubs are currently on break.
